The information and data included on The Hub web pages has been compiled from a variety of sources. R4D and its funders, including any of the HANSHEP member agencies, are not responsible for such opinions or any claims resulting from them. When you visit The Hub website, we log non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type. We use this data to monitor usage and improve our website services.This may be used internally by R4D to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the services we provide.
When you become a member of The Hub, you agree to provide us with a contact email address. A basic Profile page will automatically be created for you which will show, subject to you entering your information in these fields:
· last name
· name suffix
· job title
· self-introduction bio statement
· actors with which you identify
· topics of interest
Your email address and password will not be displayed as part of your profile. It is the user’s responsibility to manage and maintain the information they choose to make publicly viewable within their personal profiles on The Hub. We may also use this information to contact you in the future unless or until such a time that you say you do not wish us to do so.
When you request to receive information, notifications or other forms of update communications from The Hub, your email address will be the only information used to transmit this information.
We will not share any personal information you provide us, including your email address and password data, with third parties.
The database holding your personal details is held in the UK and the 1998 UK Data Protection Act applies. You have the right to inspect and update your personal details. You can do this yourself by following the instructions given on this website. If you require help with this, please contact R4D (email@example.com) who will process your request within a reasonable time.
8. Use of 'cookies'
We want to ensure that The Hub website and services are easy to use and reliable. This sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your computer, including small files known as cookies. These files cannot be used to identify you personally.

For services allowing you to publish your personal information on a website, you are required to provide accurate information about yourself and accept sole and full responsibility for this and for keeping the information up to date. You should not enter information on behalf of another person or about any other person.
By providing your information to us, you are giving your permission for your personal information to be made freely and publicly available via the internet to any internet user accessing the website. R4D reserves the right to edit each contribution (within the limits of the 1998 UK Data Protection Act). If any of the information submitted is deemed to be offensive, inflammatory or materially misleading by R4D (in its sole discretion), R4D reserves the right to refuse to publish contributions.

You are responsible for the safeguarding of any information, such as passwords and user IDs needed for use of your computer and/or your account with The Hub, and R4D will not be responsible for any consequences of such information failing to be adequately safeguarded.
You should not enter information on behalf of another person or about any other person.
You are required to use all reasonable endeavours to ensure against unauthorised access to the service, in particular the use of user names and passwords by unauthorised individuals.
Password reminders and other information from the service will be sent to the email address you have given.
