How do I create a private group?

If you have not yet created your group:

  1. From the Collaborate domain page, click "Add a Group" to create a new group.
  2. On the new group creation screen click the checkbox for "Check for Private Membership."  By choosing Private Membership, members may not request membership, and they must be invited by a group admin (this will initially be you).

If your group already exists:

  1. Contact Hub Site Administrators to help you change an existing public group to a private group.
